Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP)
The Myanmar Fruit, Flower, and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP) was established on August 11, 2006. It operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Agriculture and is affiliated with the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), which oversees trade associations across Myanmar.
MFVP represents a diverse range of stakeholders across the agricultural supply chain, including fruit and vegetable farmers (producers), crop buyers (traders), wholesalers, distributors, exporters, and service providers. Since its inception, membership has grown from 500 members in 2006 to approximately 3,000 members in 2014.
Objectives and Mandates
MFVP is dedicated to providing high-quality tropical and temperate fresh and processed fruits and vegetables to consumers. Its core mandates include:

Capacity Building – Supporting fruit and vegetable producers to cultivate fresh, high-quality, and safe produce that meets export quality and packaging standards.

Supply Chain Networking – Strengthening coordination, cooperation, and networking among farmers, traders, wholesalers, distributors, exporters, and service providers to enhance efficiency across the agricultural value chain.
