Vivre de sa Terre is a French association of agricultural services which supports Cambodian farmers for rural development in the province of Battambang and Banteay Meachey.
Our main work is to provide effective and adequate services to farmers and their families and young Cambodian farmers. The aim is to support them develop rural areas, more sustainable, healthy and fair way than it’s currently done in Cambodia.
To try to achieve this goal, our approach is to support projects that promote professionalism, innovation and social entrepreneurship in communities living in small family farms. To do this, we give the opportunity to small holders’ farmers to improve their standard of living and to have a part in the economy of the country.
The key of our approach is to use the particular features of the local life and set up together with the natives alternative models suited to their own economic, territorial and cultural situations. One of our main levers of action to boost local and sustainable development of rural Cambodia is agroecology.
