Summary:

The Youth Agroecology Caravan (YAC24) project is a multi-stakeholder, participatory, and transdisciplinary initiative that aims to empower youth to become leaders in the agroecology movement and contribute to building fair and sustainable food systems in Cambodia. Led by the VDST/SSLA/BED consortium, the project will implement three main activities: (1) The Youth Agroecology Caravan study tour will bring together young farmers, young entrepreneurs, and researchers from ALiSEA members across Cambodia to visit and engage with other actors promoting agroecology in the region; (2) The Youth Living Lab activity will create a real-world setting where youth can collaborate to develop and test new gender-responsive agroecological innovations; (3) The Youth Farmer Forum activity will provide a platform for youth farmers to share their experiences and results from the project with other existing and new members of the ALiSEA network.
