PGS Vietnam was established in 2008 and operates under the guidance and technical and financial support of ADDA Organic Agriculture Development Project – VNFU (2005-2012). In September 2012, after the ADDA-VNFU project ended, the PGS Coordination Committee met and proposed to ADDA to support the “Seed funding” source. Vietnam PGS system by the end of 2018 includes 5 intergroups: Thanh Xuan (Soc Son District – Hanoi), Luong Son (Hoa Binh Province), Trac Van (Ha Nam Province), Hien Ninh (Soc Son District – Hanoi) and Dong Xuan (Soc Son District – Hanoi). PGS is always looking for opportunities to cooperate with individual organizations such as ACCD, Seed to Table, ADDA, ADB, ALiSEA, Rikolto, etc. to exploit all the resources of society and local government, NGOs to continue training and improvement, capacity building for staff and farmers, expanding production. PGS is together with Rikolto to develop a technical manual to guide PGS construction and operation methods in the hope of helping farmers want to apply PGS. In 2017, The PGS intergroup actively participate in trade fairs to promote PGS organic and products at Hanoi Agricultural Expo;
