Awareness on rice field ecosystem:
Two major aims materials development and implementation in order to valuing the environment subject (existing subject in the primary school and secondary school curriculums) in awareness on conserve the biodiversity in rice field for sustainable ecosystem as local people can do.
Field survey and sample of aquatic animal were collected and conserve in as examples for students and researchers.
Activities achieved: Result presentation and awareness campaign were organized in the primary schools of three pilot districts: Feung, Xanakham Vientiane province and Xaythany district, Vientiane capital.
Material used in campaign are: posters (1,2) on sustainable utilization and conservation of rice field eco-system (SURE), and 8 booklets (1,2,3,4,5,6,6.1,7) of insect, plant, animal, fish, frog, aquatic animal and plants in rice eco-system and the recorded of people life and nature of Laos.

Awareness materials: Limitation of budget for printing the booklets and posters for targets schools in two provinces, as well as for interested stakeholders.
Lack of research fund from government on the ecosystem.

Seeking more support from government and international agency
FES preparing the proposal to expand the project and request on financial support from the relevant organizations
