• In 2015, the Association for Preservation of Natural Resources Environmental and Community Development (APEDC) was approved by the National Assembly Secretariat No. 478 /ຈຂ.ຊຂ and 477 /ຈຂ.ຊຂ, with 5 members of the Executive Committee, with 23 members and 2 staff members, five office workers.

• In 2018, the APEDC implemented a Forest Conservation Project related to the Phousan tourism.

In July 2021, APEDC was approved to open a general assembly to elect 5 Executive Committee, 3 inspectors and 39 members. CASE is headquartered in Xieng Khouang and will have a project office in each province.
