Tan Lac Son is a community organization established in 2014 by the Founders who are participating in managing community development projects and people living in Tan Lac and Lac Son districts, Hoa Binh province. Tan Lac Son was established and operates under the Law on Cooperatives of Vietnam
Immediately after its establishment, Tan Lac Son carried out tasks such as linking with local government agencies and non-governmental organizations to mobilize resources to support and contribute to improving the community’s livelihoods in the direction of sustainable development.
Tan Lac Son carries out 3 main activities:
ο Developing production and business associated with sustainable agricultural development: We are accompanying the people in Tan Lac, developing medicinal herb areas harvested from nature, and agroecology products, in which Tan Lac Son is in charge of production and sales distribution activities. We have established a nationwide market system.
ο Technical consulting: we accompany state agencies and non-governmental organizations to provide technical training to people on: Climate change, designing agroforestry models adapted to climate change, organic farming methods, ecological agriculture, sustainable harvesting of medicinal herbs under the forest canopy, etc.
ο Management capacity building training: Our experts are highly qualified and have been implementing management capacity building projects in the following areas: Planning, Ecotourism, sustainable development, market access strategies and value chains, organizational development (establishing cooperative groups, cooperatives, etc.)
