Environment Conservation and Community Development Association (ECCDA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs of Lao PDR Reference Number: 144/Por Nor dated 29 November 2011.ECCDA is connected with home based workers group though the savings groups and is now in the process of working towards for Homenet Laos (HNL). Homebased worker group enterprises will be composed of the savings groups, which are comprised of the self-employed who aim to be part of community enterprise and the subcontracted workers’ groups who are employed by private enterprises (owner-entrepreneurs).The HomeNet Laos (HNL) to support home-based workers in the Lao PDR that they can improve their products and earn better prices for them, consisting of 3 groups in villages in Vientiane capital and 2 groups in 2 villages in Luangphabang, there more than 100 families members, and has become a network guided by 8 committee members. This HNL is a member of the HomeNet Southeast Asia (HNSEA) which covers Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Lao PDR since 2006.
