Faculty of Agriculture and Forest Resource (FAF) was estrabished the same year as Souphanouvong University 2003, our aim to provided high education in the northern of Laos. There are different 5 majors of teaching program as: Plant Science, Animal Science, Forest resouce, Ecotourism and Food Science and Technology. In 15 years of organisation developing, FAF has produced more than 3000 students to work in NGO, Private company, Government and other in the northern part of Laos.
FAF also work collaborated with many in stitutions to build up capacity building in agricultural research, agricultural production extension, support the outcome of academic research to the farmers.
Department of Plant Science is the main majoring that educate students and research on agronomy, agro-eclogy, plant botany, plant morphology, plant genetic and biodiversity and etc.
