Established on July 30, 2015 – is an initiative of the Agriculture Alliance. The forum is a voluntary network of farmer organization representatives in the country to promote a new type of cooperation, bring effectiveness and protect the interests of farmer household, promoting agroecology.
Principle of operation: Activities of the Forum based on the principle of autonomy, democracy, transparency, solidarity and creativity.
Objective: The forum is a place of exchange, collaboration, sharing and learning experience between cooperatives, cooperative groups, and members. At the same time, the forum joins to develop mechanisms, policies and measures to promote the development of cooperatives, agricultural cooperative group and support the state management agencies to promulgate, enforce related policies.
The Management board of the Forum including the 15 members are representatives of 8 groups of cooperatives and founding organizations (Department of Cooperatives and Rural Development, Phano).
