ALiSEA Opens Small Grant Facility for 2024: Empowering Agroecology in Cambodia

The Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) is excited to announce the opening of its Small Grant Facility for 2024, designed to bolster the efforts of ALiSEA members and partners in Cambodia. This initiative aims to support the transition to agroecology through targeted grants focused on three crucial areas: market access, public policy, and the empowerment of women and youth.

Grant Topics and Objectives

  1. Support and Improve Market Access for Agroecological Products This topic is dedicated to enhancing and expanding sustainable markets for agroecological products. The goal is to foster holistic development in market systems that support these eco-friendly and sustainable products.
  2. Link Field Experience in Agroecology and Food Systems to Public Policy Framework This topic seeks to elevate the role of ALiSEA members in national and regional policy discussions. By showcasing the impacts of agroecological practices, the initiative aims to influence policymakers and encourage the integration of agroecology into public policies.
  3. Empower and Strengthen Women and Youth Involvement in Agroecology The third topic focuses on encouraging and supporting women and youth to engage with and benefit from innovative agroecological farming practices. This involves increasing their understanding, application, and participation in agroecology.
