In the context of the COSTEA (Comité Scientifique et Technique Eau Agricole) project, AFEID will launch a study aiming at elaborating a general framework to organize support to irrigating farmers so as to maximize the outcomes of such activities. This study is part of a broader reflection on “Irrigation Services” held by the COSTEA and will consist of case studies conducted in irrigated areas where organizational and technical innovation in terms of water sharing and commercialization of irrigated products are taking place. The case studies should be conducted in an irrigated-rice production area in Cambodia and in a Tunisian Oasis context.

L’AFEID souhaite lancer dans le cadre du COSTEA (Comité Scientifique et Technique Eau Agricole) une étude qui a pour objet de proposer un schéma global de formulation et d’organisation des appuis aux agriculteurs irrigants, dans plusieurs contextes en matière d’irrigation, de façon à maximiser l’impact de ces interventions.Ce projet s’inscrit dans l’action structurante du COSTEA sur les Services aux Irrigants et s’appuiera sur des études de terrain sur des périmètres irrigués faisant l’objet d’innovations organisationnelles et techniques autour du partage de la ressource en eau et de la commercialisation des produits agricoles, dans 2 contextes : au Cambodge sur une zone de production rizicole et en Tunisie dans une zone oasienne.
