The Agroecology Learning Alliance in South East Asia (ALiSEA) is opening for the application of the Small Grant facility 2024 to strengthen ALiSEA members and its partners on three major topics in support to agroecology transition in Cambodia.

The three topics are:

  1. Topic No1: Support and improve market access for Agroecological Products: aims to contribute to the creation or strengthening of sustainable markets for agroecological products, in a holistic way.
  2. Topic No2: Link field experience in Agroecology and Food Systems to Public Policy framework: seeks to strengthen ALiSEA members as recognized contributors to national and regional policy dialogue debates, to highlight the impacts of the agroecological transition and to push policymakers toward integrating more agroecological practices in policies.
  3. Topic No3: Empower and strengthen women and youth involvements in Agroecology: aims to encourage youths and women in understanding, applying, and benefiting from innovative agroecology farming and approaches.

The application is open from 21st  of August to 18th of October 2024. The successful projects will be announced in early December 2024.

This 2024 call for proposal is led by the Development Partnership in Action (DPA) organization in the capacity of the National Secretariate of ALiSEA network in Cambodia, with the financial support from Uni4Coop’s PArTNER project and technical supports from GRET and other local ALiSEA’s Board members.  The results from this small-grant initiative will contribute to the agroecology transition movement, which has been continuously promoted by ASSET project and Uni4Coop.

Additionally, to implement and ease the process of small grants, DPA, GRET and Uni4Coop are jointly organizing the information and proposal writing session to the information of ALiSEA’s Small Grant Facility in 2024 to its local members in Cambodia only. It will take place in Phnom Penh (the venue will be informed shortly).
