Responsibilities:
Petty Cash:
- Handle petty cash, ensuring disbursements and cash on hand are balanced;
- Ensure replenishment of the petty cash fund is done on time to ensure there are enough funds for daily
and monthly operations.
Project Management:
- Provide critical support in ensuring that project funds are efficiently and timely requested, disbursed,
liquidated and properly accounted; - Assist in the preparation of requests for cash advances and payments for monitoring, networking, and
other activities of the project; - Review liquidations of advances, and submit the reviewed liquidation reports to the Finance Manager;
- Communicate or coordinate with Finance Officer (Philippines & Mekong) about payment transactions
on Grant tranches and petty cash replenishments; - Provide assistance to Grantees/ Partners in finance matters related to implementation and the completion
of their Grant Projects; - Assist the Finance Manager, Grants Facilitator, and LMN Coordinator ensure the timely submission of
Finance Report by Grantees; - Review and revise as necessary liquidation and financial reports from Grantees and Partners before for-
- warding to Finance Manager and Grants Manager; and
- Assist the Finance Manager to clarify matters pertaining to financial reports of Grantees, and preparation
of Donor reports.
Other:
- Communicate or coordinate with Finance Officer (Philippines & Mekong) about bank payments trans-
actions; - Provide secretarial support and assistance to the project team for organizing capability development activities such as training, workshops, and meetings;
- Ensure all regular utilities and services invoices are paid accurately and on time;
- Assist the HR and Administrative Unit in the maintenance of the office and office equipment; and
- Traveling to provinces with Grants Facilitator and LMN Coordinator sometimes.
Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum Diploma degree in Accounting/Management Office
- Have experience in the function of Grants Administration/Management at least 2 years
- Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English, written and oral
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision but also accustomed to working in a team;
- Highly motivated
- Preferable having the work experience in NGO/Non-profit organizations

sure; - Self-motivated and able to follow through to the end of assignments while meeting goals and deadlines;

- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently;
- Must be a team player and able to maintain a flexible work manner and schedule
- Willing to travel, as needed
Term and Condition:

b. The duty station will be in Vientiane, Laos;
