PFHA is the leading family health association striving to provide all people with innovative and up-to-date RH information and quality services by empowering individuals through raising awareness of RH knowledge, information, and services and improving the quality of RH care and services for its beneficiaries in collaboration with Government authorities, relevant stakeholders, and other civil society organizations.
PFHA has a partnership with CARE International in Lao PDR (CARE) to implement “Improving Sexual and Reproductive Health through reducing early marriage in Remote Ethnic Communities in Lao PDR Project” which gets financial support from BMZ through CARE. This project aims to accomplish the goals and objectives of the communities responding to reduce early marriage in Remote Ethnic Communities in Dakchung and Lamam districts, Sekong Province.
Therefore, PFHA is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to work for the project as a full-time staff and they will be based in Sekong Province. The below positions are available for candidates to apply:

Essential Selection Criteria:
- University degree in social science, community/rural development or equivalent, especially a bachelor’s degree in health or related subject will be a priority
- Good knowledge and experience in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights
- Experience in working with adolescent/youth
- Good understanding of gender-sensitive and rights
- Knowledge in project cycle management as well as the ability to make a monitor and evaluation plan
- Good communication, diplomacy, negotiation as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written as well as
- Good computer skills in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate in English: reading, speaking, and writing
- Knowledge in facilitating training/workshop/meeting
- Ability to organize training, seminar, and supervision as well as enough skill as a facilitator or moderator
- Experience in working in remote communities and with ethnic minority groups and willing to work in challenging situations (in remote areas, with ethnic people, …)
- Sensitive to issues of inclusion(ethnicity and gender)
- Work respectfully and cooperatively with colleagues
- The strong idea in learning new things as well as openness to different ideas/attitudes
- Be patient and respectful of others base on human rights
The salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The above position will initially be offered for a short term contract, subject to review and availability of funds.
