Village Support Group (VSG)

Village Support Group (VSG) is a local non-governmental organization established in 1995 and official registered with Ministry of Interior of Cambodia in 2007. Our Vision: All communities live in a peaceful society, environment, health, food security, sustainable economic development, self-reliance, gender equality and equity, and democratic sensitization. Mission: Collaborating with relevant government institutions, NGOs, private sectors and with community partners to address the basic needs of the poor, especially the vulnerable, to improve their lives. Our Work: VSG has been working more than 27 years at the subnational and community levels focusing on various of the project components including: 1). Community Empowerment on natural resources enhancement such as fishery and forestry conservation and improvement, 2). Climate change and environment, 3). Rights to access public information, 4). Local Good Governance and Advocacy, 5). Agricultural development, Food security, WASH, Nutritional education. 6). Older People Association development and 7). Socio-Economic Rights for Young women and Youth Empowerment. VSG has a good reputation and strong relationship and networking at sub-national level with government agencies, civil societies, private sectors as well as with communities and CBOs.
