The International Cooperation Center (ICC) – Thai Nguyen University (TNU) was founded to implement the “active global integration” policy of Government, focusing on international cooperative activities in training, research and development for the Northern Midland and Mountainous Region of Vietnam. ICC also plays the role of a bridge, supporting provinces in the Region to widen worldwide collaboration. It is the place where scientists and educators within and beyond TNU gather to create a team of strong advisors that provides support in dealing with economic, social and environmental affairs in the Region.
Currently, its activities focusing on: Provide qualified advisors for contributing to and developing projects, and to organize, implement and evaluate R & D projects; Provide short training courses, such as: “live skills”, English and Korean languages for students; Rice farming for farmers; research methodology for young researchers and project management for extensioners/practitioners; Manage activity of IAESTE Vietnam (the International Association for the Exchange Students for Technical Experience)
