Tan Lac Son Cooperative

Tan Lac Son is a community-based organization founded in 2014 by local leaders and residents of Tan Lac and Lac Son districts, Hoa Binh province. It was established under Vietnam’s Law on Cooperatives and focuses on sustainable community development.

From its inception, Tan Lac Son has actively collaborated with local government agencies and non-governmental organizations to mobilize resources that enhance livelihoods and promote sustainable development.

Key Activities:

1. Sustainable Agricultural Development & Business
   Tan Lac Son works closely with local farmers to develop medicinal herb plantations and agroecological products. We oversee production and distribution, ensuring access to a nationwide market system.

2. Technical Consulting
   We provide training and technical support to government agencies and NGOs, covering topics such as:

   • Climate change adaptation
   • Agroforestry model design
   • Organic and ecological farming methods
   • Sustainable harvesting of medicinal herbs under forest canopies

3. Management Capacity Building
   Our experts deliver training programs in:

   • Planning and ecotourism
   • Sustainable development and market access strategies
   • Value chains and organizational development (e.g., forming cooperative groups and cooperatives)
