The Agroecology Coalition is a global network uniting governments, organizations, researchers, and farmers to promote agroecology as a key solution for sustainable food systems. The coalition advocates for policy change, facilitates knowledge exchange, and supports the transition to resilient and equitable farming practices worldwide.

Agroecology Knowledge Hub
The FAO Agroecology Knowledge Hub promotes agroecology as a sustainable and inclusive approach to food and farming systems. It highlights key principles like biodiversity, resilience, and local knowledge, and provides resources, case studies, and tools to support agroecological transitions worldwide.

World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies (WOCAT)
WOCAT is a global network on Sustainable Land Management (SLM) that promotes the documentation, sharing and use of knowledge to support adaptation, innovation and decision-making in SLM.

The Agroecology and Safe Food System Transitions (ASSET)
The Agroecology and Safe Food System Transitions (ASSET) project is a five-year initiative (2020–2025) aimed at transforming food and agricultural systems in Southeast Asia to be more sustainable, safe, and inclusive. Focusing on Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam, ASSET leverages agroecology to promote diversified farming practices and enhance food system resilience.

Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA)
The Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) is a regional alliance of national farmers’ organizations across Asia. AFA advocates for the rights and interests of small-scale farmers, promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, and farmer-led enterprises. Through policy engagement, capacity building, and knowledge sharing, AFA strengthens the voice of farmers in decision-making processes at national and regional levels.

The Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP)
is a regional organization founded in 1992 by indigenous peoples’ movements. AIPP is committed to the cause of promoting and defending indigenous peoples’ rights and human rights and articulating issues of relevance to indigenous peoples. At present, AIPP has 46 members from 14 countries in Asia with 18 indigenous peoples’ national alliances/networks (national formations), 30 local and sub-national organizations. Of this number, 16 are ethnic based organizations, six (6) indigenous women and four (4) are indigenous youth organizations and one (1) organization of indigenous persons with disabilities.

Asian Partnership for the Development of Human Resources in Rural Asia (AsiaDHRRA)
is a regional partnership of eleven social development networks and organisations in eleven Asian nations that envisions Asian rural communities that are just, free, prosperous, living in peace and working in solidarity towards self-reliance. Tracing its history from the founding workshop on the development of human resources in rural areas in 1974 in Swanganiwas, Thailand, the DHRRA network’s mission is to be an effective promoter and catalyst of partnership relations, facilitator of human resource development processes in the rural areas and mobilizer of expertise and opportunities for the strengthening of solidarity and kinship among Asian rural communities. It is dedicated to the empowerment of farmers in the Asian region.

Agroecology in South-East Asia (ASEA)
ASEA Network (Agroecology Southeast Asia Network) is a regional platform that connects organizations, researchers, and practitioners working to promote agroecology in Southeast Asia. The network facilitates knowledge exchange, policy advocacy, and collaboration to support sustainable food systems and resilient farming communities across the region.

International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements Asia (IFOAM Asia)
IFOAM Asia (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements Asia) is a regional body dedicated to promoting organic agriculture and sustainable food systems across Asia. It supports organic farmers, organizations, and policymakers through advocacy, capacity building, and networking to advance ecological farming practices and strengthen the organic movement in the region.

Markets and Agriculture Linkages for Cities in Asia (MALICA)
MALICA (Markets and Agriculture Linkages for Cities in Asia) is a research network focused on food systems, market dynamics, and agricultural value chains in Southeast Asia. Bringing together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners, MALICA aims to generate knowledge and innovative solutions to enhance food security, rural development, and sustainable agriculture in the region.

Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG)
The Mekong Region Land Governance (MRLG) initiative works to strengthen land tenure security for smallholder farmers, indigenous peoples, and marginalized communities in the Mekong region. By fostering policy dialogue, research, and collaboration among governments, civil society, and local communities, MRLG promotes inclusive and sustainable land governance in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Non-Timber Forest Products – Exchange Programme (NTFP-EP)
NTFP-EP is a collaborative network of NGOs and community-based organizations across South and Southeast Asia that supports forest-dependent communities in sustainably managing and benefiting from non-timber forest products (NTFPs). The platform shares resources, stories, and tools to promote biodiversity conservation, indigenous knowledge, and community livelihoods through forest-based solutions.
NATIONALS

Lao44.org
Lao 44 is an online platform designed to collect and share various documents, research papers, case studies, success stories, and theses from contributors who wish to publish their work. Serving as an open-access digital library, it allows users to store and access a wide range of resources, with most documents available in the Lao language.

The Land Information Working Group (LIWG)
is a civil society network that was set up in 2007. The LIWG consists mostly of international and local civil society organization staff and other individuals working on land issues in Lao PDR. The group has over 80 Core Members representing nearly 40 organizations, and over 180 individual Supporting Members. The LIWG activities are implemented through the LIWG Secretariat which is overseen by the Committee, elected from among the member organizations.

Pha Khao Lao
Pha Khao Lao is an online knowledge hub dedicated to biodiversity, agriculture, and traditional wisdom in Laos. It serves as a platform for researchers, farmers, and policymakers to access and share information on sustainable farming practices, local plant species, and natural resource management. The website features articles, reports, and multimedia content to promote knowledge exchange and strengthen agroecological practices in Laos.
