How to become a member?

To become an ALiSEA members, you need to meet some criteria and follow several steps. You first must be an organization, to be aligned with our charter, and to actively engage in promoting an agroecology transition in the Mekong region through participation to experience, knowledge sharing and collective actions.

If you want to become an ALiSEA members and you meet these criteria, you can contact us here. We will answer you as soon as possible for the next step:

1. Attend the collective orientation meeting with several interested organisation

This meeting is a moment of exchange between the ALiSEA team, and several organizations interested in becoming a member of our network. We will discuss about the agroecological basic trainings for the new members, the knowledge product sharing, and the ALiSEA welcoming package. You can express your interest in the network and ask your questions.

2. Prepare a motivation letter and submit the document

In the motivation letter, you need to describe your expertise and explain your motivation to become an ALiSEA member. You also need to submit some evidence of your work in agroecology and the charter of your organisation

3. Seeking approval from the Board of Members

Your application will be discussed among the Board of Members.

4. Membership approval

If your application is approved, congratulations and welcome among us! You will need to sign the ALiSEA internal charter and to register in the online form that we will send you. The National Secretariat will officially announce your new membership and upload your profile on the ALiSEA website. We will also provide you a Membership Certificate.
