Center for Agrarian Systems Research and Development (CASRAD) was established under Decision No. 687QD/KHNN-TCCB dated 14/7/2008 by the Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture
Main duties as follows:
– Developing agricultural production systems, forming of farmer organizations (cooperative group; cooperatives, associations) and industry/value chain of agricultural sustainability in eco-regions.
– Consultancy for branding agricultural products (geographical indications, certification marks and collective brand),
– Training and participating with individuals and organizations in the field of agriculture, the sector/value chain of sustainable agricultural products and rural development.
– Developing agro-ecological agriculture to mitigate and adapt to climate change
