Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA)

The Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association (VOAA) is a non-profit, professional organization that represents individuals, organizations, and businesses engaged in organic agriculture across Vietnam. Established to promote and develop the organic farming sector, VOAA supports sustainable agricultural practices, enhances market access, and advocates for policies that benefit organic farmers and businesses.

Mission and Objectives

VOAA aims to develop and strengthen organic agriculture in Vietnam by focusing on key areas:

• Policy Advocacy: Works with government agencies and international organizations to establish and improve regulations, policies, and standards for organic agriculture.
• Trade Promotion & Market Development: Supports producers in marketing and distributing organic products both domestically and internationally, helping to create stable value chains.
• Organic Certification & Standards: Assists farmers and businesses in obtaining organic certifications that comply with national and international standards, ensuring product quality and credibility.
• Capacity Building & Training: Organizes training programs, workshops, and online courses to educate farmers, businesses, and consumers on organic agriculture practices.
• Research & Knowledge Sharing: Collaborates with research institutions, universities, and industry experts to conduct studies on organic farming techniques and share best practices.
• Consumer Awareness & Community Engagement: Promotes awareness about the benefits of organic products and supports initiatives that encourage sustainable consumption.

Key Activities

VOAA actively implements various initiatives to support organic agriculture, including:
