Center for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA), Tay Bac University
The Center for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA) was established under Decision No. 329/QD-DHTB-TCCB dated May 18, 2017, by the President of Tay Bac University. The Center is a legal entity with its seal and account. The Center is a public science and technology unit with revenue and financial autonomy according to Decree 43/2006/ND-CP dated April 25, 2006, of the Government, according to the provisions of the State’s law.
Our mission:
- Organize research programs on agricultural development, sustainable agriculture, organic agriculture, high-tech agriculture, forest protection, environmental protection, and related issues.
- Develop technical processes related to sustainable agricultural production, organic production, and safe production of agricultural and forestry products.
- Build laboratories to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the environment and on indicators related to the fields of food safety, biotechnology, and post-harvest technology
- Organize conferences, seminars, and scientific discussions on sustainable agriculture and related issues
- Organize regular vocational training and short-term training courses under 3 months in the fields of agriculture, forestry, environment, and related issues.
- Organizing consultancy, training, and coaching on agriculture, forestry, and related issues
- Implementing international cooperation activities on research, academics, capacity-building activities for research staff
- Organizing the compilation of academic documents on agriculture and forestry.
- Organizing the production of sustainable agricultural and forestry products, producing products serving the development of sustainable agriculture in Vietnam such as safe biological products, microbial fertilizers, bio-organic fertilizers, etc.
- Providing scientific and technical services, production, and business on sustainable agriculture and related issues.
