East Yangon University

Under the Ministry of Education, East Yangon University was established in 1999. There are 17 arts and sciences departments. Currently, more than 13,000 day students and 21,000 University of Distance Education (UDE) students are attending East Yangon University.

Both research- and teaching-orientated university.
