Federation of Farmer Associations Promoting Family Agricultural Enterprise in Cambodia (FAEC)

The Federation of Farmer Associations promoting family agricultural enterprise in Cambodia (FAEC) was founded on 04th September 2009 in the Ministry of Interior by representatives of presidents of farmer associations and cooperatives coming from 09 provinces of Cambodia. Nowadays, FAEC currently has 49 agricultural cooperatives and 7 farmer associations that registered as our members.

Vision

To be an independent and sustainable organization that empowers small-scale family farmers and farmer organizations to protect their rights and interests as well as to have better governance, access to markets, and finance.

Mission

1. To strengthen the capacity development of farmer organizations
2. To promote agricultural value chains and capital investment to support family-scale farmers
3. To promote advocacy work for protecting the rights and interests of family-scale farmers.
4. To collaborate with development partners, NGOs/CSOs, governmental institutions, and other relevant stakeholders
5. To mainstream gender and local youth in leading roles in farmer organization
