Objectives of the Institute

The Institute is dedicated to researching and applying scientific and technological advancements to practical activities that promote efficient, environmentally friendly production. Its mission is to ensure sustainable development and enhance resilience to climate change.

The Institute for Research and Application of Environmental Treatment is a non-public scientific and technological organization that brings together highly regarded experts with extensive experience in ecology, biodiversity, environment, agriculture, and forestry. These experts come from research institutes, universities, and regulatory agencies across Vietnam.

Activities and Expertise

The Institute’s members have conducted research, training, and consulting activities, implementing various initiatives in the following areas:

Environmental Pollution Treatment: Providing solutions for soil, water, and air pollution treatment, including waste management.
Ecosystem Development: Promoting sustainable mangrove and agroforestry ecosystems while enhancing biodiversity to adapt to climate change.
Microbiological Technology Transfer: Supporting the application of microbiological technology in waste treatment and organic fertilizer processing for safe and organic agricultural production.
Green and Circular Economy Initiatives: Consulting on environmentally friendly production, cleaner production, and green production to support Vietnam’s transition to a circular economy.
Organic Agriculture Development: Facilitating technology transfer and implementing organic agricultural models, including organic farming, livestock, medicinal plants, and more.
Environmental Assessments: Conducting environmental impact assessments (EIA) and strategic environmental assessments (SEA) for projects in agriculture, construction, mining, and related sectors.
Environmental and Economic Consulting: Offering expert advice on environmental and economic aspects of construction, mining, and railway transportation.
Environmental Protection in Construction: Consulting on sustainable environmental practices for urban underground infrastructure, civil, and industrial projects.
