Khao Kai Noi (GI) Association of Xiengkhouang Province (KMA.XK)

The Khao Kai Noi GI Association of Xiengkhouang Province is dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture, with a special focus on Khao Kai Noi GI, a unique and high-quality rice variety native to our region. Our association works closely with five farmer groups, supporting them with technical guidance, improved farming practices, and market access to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Our primary goals include:

• Increasing farmers’ income by expanding market opportunities and ensuring fair pricing for their produce.
• Enhancing food security by promoting resilient and sustainable agricultural practices.
• Preserving the cultural and genetic heritage of Khao Kai Noi GI rice, which holds significant value for local communities.
