Finance Intern
Background: Rikolto is an international NGO with over 50 years of experience partnering with farmer organizations and food chain actors in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Rikolto runs programmes in 18 countries worldwide through 5 regional offices.
Rikolto envisions a world with a sustainable income for farmers and nutritious, affordable food for everyone. We reach our goals by building bridges between smallholder farmer organizations, companies, authorities, and other actors across rural and urban areas. Together, we create innovative ways of accessing, distributing, and producing nutritious, quality food so no one is left behind.
Rikolto in Southeast Asia (SEA) operates in Vietnam, with its country office based in Hanoi. We are currently looking for a finance intern to join our team.
Job Overview: Under the supervision of the finance officer, the finance intern supports day-to-day finance work by:
- Filing finance documents;
- Checking supporting financial documents for completeness;
- Following up on missing documents when required; and
- Maintaining finance records in accordance with Rikolto’s procedures.
The position is suitable for a final-year student or recent graduate seeking practical experience in finance administration within an international NGO.
Job type: One-year internship, full-time (A part-time arrangement may be considered for final-year students.)
Expected starting date: As soon as possible

Requirements:
- Final-year university student or recent graduate in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- No prior work experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Careful, detail-oriented, and well organized.
- Willing to learn and able to follow instructions.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Able to maintain the confidentiality of financial information.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
