Policy dialogue

The ALiSEA Network aims to foster policy dialogue and mainstream agroecology into national and regional strategies as its key goals. In 2021, the ALiSEA network, along with the board members, selected a focal point for policy dialogue in each country. In 2022, a policy dialogue working group was formed, and ALiSEA began its policy dialogue work by consulting members on their agroecology policy dialogue and advocacy strategies. During 2023, ALiSEA made progress in its policy dialogue work journey, including producing position papers on agroecology, actively participating in policy forums, and achieving milestones in engaging with national policy dialogue platforms in the region.
