CoDA association was known as LADCA (Lao Development and Cooperation Association) and was founded in 2005 under the license granted by LUSEA (Lao Union of Science and Engineering Association) and the members are composed of the former of Lao Staffs from HIF (French International Handicap).

CoDA has the commitment to develop and promote agriculture products linked to sustainable market, empower women in local participatory development, support communities to access to basic education and basic health in parallel with strengthening of the association and partner organizations

Main activities are:
1. Food security: livestock and plantation For livestock: we support animal raising: buffalo, cow, goat, pig, chicken, duck, fish in form of supporting and animal fund, For plantation: we support seeds and seedling of (rice, yangbong, banana, rattan, peanut, and home garden)
2. Empower women in remote area for more participation in Development activities (such as livestock / agriculture group management)
3. Support basic education such primary school and non-formal education and basic health especially to promote linkage of Agriculture, Natural resource and Nutrition or LANN, clean water supply
4. Capacity building for CoDA and CBOs (community based organizations)

Our main objectives are:
1. People have sufficient and nutritious food, stable income and rich natural resources
2. Women are empowered, recognized and given equal rights to fully participate in decision making process for community development
3. Target communities’ access to basic education, health information, clean water and healthy consumption
4. The association is strong, stable and well recognized in society (Laos and international)
