Consultative Institute for Socio-Economic Development of Rural and Mountainous Areas (CISDOMA)

CISDOMA was established under Decision No 25/QD-TW issued on 22/5/2000 by the President of the Southeast Asian Research Association of Vietnam (SEARAV), with the operation permit No A-135 issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology on the 4th of November 2015.

CIDOMA works on implementing projects and providing consultancy services and capacity building:
1. Sustainable/low-emission agriculture and forestry;
2. Alternative livelihoods and business development for poor farmers;
3. Climate change and climate change adaptive measurements;
4. Disaster risk reduction and emergency response;
5. Rights-based approaches, participatory approaches in development;
6. Proposal writing, project cycle management, and M&E of development projects and programmes;
7. Learner-centred training methodologies.
