Department of Food Processing Technology (DFPT), Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA)

DFPT, one of five departments at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, VNUA, has a young and enthusiastic staff with sound knowledge in food science and technology. Most of the staff obtained higher education degrees abroad, such as in Belgium and Australia. We offer many courses in BSc and MSc programmes in food technology and postharvest technology with approximately 3,000 BSc and MSc students. Besides teaching, the major research topics are food processing technology, postharvest technology, food value chains, and quality management systems for fruits and vegetables.
