Farmer and Nature Net Association (FNN)

The Farmer and Nature Net Association (FNN) is a local, non-profit, and non-political farmer organization established in 2003. It was officially registered with the Ministry of Interior on March 10, 2006, and re-registered on October 7, 2025. FNN serves as an umbrella organization for a network of village-based associations. FNN currently operates across 16 provinces, 58 districts, 218 communes, and 816 villages. Its network includes 96 agricultural cooperatives comprising 18,770 members (64% women) and producer groups with 21,912 members (50% women) and self-help groups with 9,927 members (81% women). In total, FNN supports 50,609 farmers, of which 61% are women. 28% of the 96 ACs are led by women. FNN is the membership of the Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development, La Via Campesina (LVC), the International Land Coalition (ILC), and ALiSEA. FNN is highly committed to strengthening the farmer organization through promoting innovation in ecological agriculture, community business markets, saving-credit, and increasing social cooperation.
