Preah Vihear Mean Chey Union of Agricultural Cooperative (PMUAC) was founded in 2016 with objective of boosting market of agricultural products from its members together with strengthening product quality and building capacity of farmers. Organic rice has been the dominated commodity supported and promoted by PMUAC since its establishment. Peanut has been later diversified since 2020. With vision: “Farmers in Preah Vihear will be living with a prosperous and dignity”, PMUAC has launched five main programs: four for operational projects and one for institutional development. Those include 1) Cooperative Capacity Support Unit, 2) Quality Compliance Unit, 3) Market Support Unit, 4) Business Development Unit, and 5) Admin and Finance Unit.
