Seed to Table (STT) is a Japanese non-government organization established in 2009. Currently STT operates activities in Vietnam and Japan.
Our aim of activities is to help poor people and small-scale farmers through building capacity in agricultural production and market access for improving their livelihood. STT encourages farmers to apply sustainable agriculture (i.e. Rice-duck farming, Rice-fish farming, SALT, SRI…) and organic farming (applying PGS) in principle of natural resource utilization and conservation. Also, STT promotes to protect and use local varieties.
Simultaneously, STT helps local youth to raise their awareness on the value of local natural environment and culture heritage, and to build community based eco tourism.
