Agroecology Fund
Since 2024, the ALiSEA network has been collaborating with the Agroecology Fund (AEF) as part of the Agroecology Promotion Program. AEF provides small grants of up to $50,000 to support collaborative initiatives that promote agroecological transitions from a rights-based perspective, addressing multiple ongoing crises. The implementation period for the grant project is 12 to 18 months.
The ALiSEA network is eligible to participate in the advisory group responsible for nominating organizations from four countries: Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, and Vietnam. AEF guarantees one grant per country for ALiSEA members.
Following nominations by the ALiSEA team, these organizations will be allowed to submit a full proposal directly to AEF. The final funding decisions are made solely by the AEF Selection Committee, without any involvement from the ALiSEA team.
To carry out these nominations, the ALiSEA team has established a simple, transparent, and open application process for its members. Please find the eligibility criteria and timeline below.
