ALiSEA Cambodia is planning to organize the Field Exposure for Agroecological Students from National University of Battambang to deepen their understanding on the cover crop system and conservation agriculture toward the scientific and practical aspects beyond the theoretical classes. This field visit is scheduled on Friday, 08th August 2025 to Cambodian Conservation Agriculture Research for Development Center, Bos Knor, Chamka Lue District, Kampong Cham Province.  

In addition, this field visit will be arranged in the theoretical concepts to provide further knowledge on conservation agriculture (CA), cover-crop and site visit to the long-term CA research station.

Objectives:
  • Deepen students’ understanding of agroecology, specifically Conservation Agriculture.
  • Introduce students to the practical applications of cover crops in conservation agriculture.
  • Engage students with researchers and practitioners in agroecology
  • Bridge the gap between the theories to practices for better prepared to apply and promote agroecology in their future work.
  • Develop the case studies from the field visit.
